Not being arguementative but cant hubble see like a millimetre difference from like 2000miles away, im sure that could have a good go![]()
Hubble's angular resolution is about 0.05 arcseconds (0.000014º), while an object 1 cm across on the surface of the moon would be around a millionth of an arcsecond (less than a billionth of a degree) if viewed from Earth. In other words, such an object would have to be around 10000 times bigger for Hubble to be able to resolve it
