If you won the lottery, what car would you buy?

e30 M3 Evo

e28 M5


For touring, a Motorhome based on a Scania chassis, towing a trailer with one of the above in it. :D

Probably a Few Ferraris at home as well.... :D
 
I'd probably buy my dad something like an S-Class, and for myself I'd probably get a 288GTO as it has always been my 'dream' car, and something like an XKR/911/AM V8 for day to day.

Kin cars are for Paupers I'd get a Lynx helicopter & drop crap parcels on you scummy motorists. :p
 
F40..

My god, can you imagine it, winning the lottery on a Saturday night and then just being able to go on autotrader find an F40 and go out and buy it..

Dreams, gotta love them!

I know. I would go into a Aston garage dressed in my normal clothes. I'm a student so jeans, skate shoes, vest top and hoodie and pull out my check book/pay in cash and watch as the assistant struggles to tell me they can't accept it as I look like a bum :D

I would love to believe that Aston Martin, a quality brand, proud of the heritage, power, beauty & soul etc, would show you the door as your not the appropriate clientele. Unfortunately during these hard times for the motor industry & the fact they have recently acquired a 'footballers car' identity your probably the ideal consumer! Now get that lotto ticket purchased!
 
Hmmm.... A couple out of this lot...

General Use:
- Jag XKR or XFR
- Maserati GranTurismo S
- Nissan GT-R

Just because I like them/they'd be a bloody riot:
- Lotus Exige S
- Honda NSX-R
- Honda Integra Type R (newer one, I have no idea what the model number would be!)
- My Rover 25 GTI stripped, engine refurb'd and tuned (supercharged if possible) and resprayed black with yellow pinstripe detailing :D (of course all the other bits, uprated suspension and all)
 
Ok, well I still stick by the if I won the lottery I'd work.. otherwise I'd be bored.

So daily hacks would be

Nissan GTR - with the HKS kit
Audi RS4
BMW M5

Toys:

Subaru Impreza 22B - without a doubt. Sensible modifications.
Ford Escort Cosworth - again sensible mods
Mitsubishi Evo 9 - see above
Nissan Skyline R34 GTR V-Spec - Modded to hell
Toyota Supra - Modded to hell
Honda NSX Type R
Various Subaru Impreza's - modded to hell

Exotics:

Lambo Murci
Pagani Zonda F
Koenigsegg CCX

Basically anything I can tinker with. I think I'd spend a fortune buying relativley normal cars and tuning them. I think every car above sounds great too, which is VERY important !

Buy an F40 for daily driver, buy and F40 for a track weapon, then buy another F40 to keep polished up.

Then a Mclaren F1 LM with matching ear defenders to just drive around town as a shopping cart :D
 
Some of the replies are quite interesting considering the question was what would you buy if you won "a couple of million". Even the most hardcore car enthusiast is going to want to buy a new house rather than blowing it all on motors.

With that kind of money I'd have something nice but definately not a supercar. Probably be tempted by something like a 335i or similar with every option ticked.

EDIT... or a Skoda Octavia vRS and a Ferrari California for the weekends :p

I don't get all the people saying they'd buy a F40. F50 maybe, but the F430 is more powerful than the F40.
