I have yourself fitness on the PC. It's good but in runs at only one resolution 800x600 and scales to full screen. Now if I remember rightly there's a dash and a letter you can add to the properties of a shortcut that will force a game/app to run in a window. Anyone know what this is?

Thanks

Just add -window after exe, making sure there's a space after the exe. So it looks like this -

C:\Program Files\whatever\whatever.exe -window

Not working. It keeps saying the target isn't valid when I click OK or Apply. In the properties the path is enclosed in quotes and if add -window I get the error message and if I add it outside the quotes the game loads but in full screen.

Hmm. Been so long since I did this.. are you doing it in the Target field or the Start In field? Try leaving the Target field as it is and adding -window outside of the quote marks in the Start In field.

Tried both fileds mate and neither work. Is it possible that the game has been fixed not to ba able to run in a window?

try starting the game and then pressing "alt + return" once it's loaded up, should put it into a window for you.

I dunno, I suppose it's possible, but it would be an odd thing for them to do. Where's the harm in running it windowed.

Anyone else out there that's come across this?

Just tried and still not working. It must be something in the game itself that stopping you going into a window. Thanks anyway Tefal & Spirity

Make sure the -window is OUTSIDE of the "" quotes the path to the .exe is in. if you put it inside the quotes it tries to include it as part of the file's name and says path not found. :)
