BARCELONA Grand Prix 2009 - Race 5/17

Can anyone honestly see Donington being ready on time? This is a British construction project we're on about you know it's not going to be anywhere near ready on time!!

Thats if they even get the money to actually do it!

Can you see it not being ready, it's such a big even and so much coverage. it would be suicide not to get it finished.
They'll come through.

I'd beg to differ. All the 'inside' voices at Silverstone are convinced that the 2010 GP will take place at Silverstone or nowhere at all.

On the Ferrari issue, when was the last time Ferrari were 1-2 in 3rd Prac even running on fumes....love it :):)

Because they are an impartial group. It's obvious why they are saying that, they lost their biggest event.

Sorry I should have added who I was talking about, I am a doctor at Silverstone/Mallory/Rockingham so I meet marshals/paramedics/extrication teams who aren't coupled with one track, like myself. They obviously come in contact with people working at the circuits and get to know what is really going on in the World of motorsport, that was their opinion when I met them at GT3s.

They lost their biggest event because Bernie has some vendetta against them, certainly from a medical support point of view they are very very good.

I agree, how you can not say how Donnington is doing, as no one knows. They have not told anyone. not even people in f1 know what the schedule is what xyz should be.

Silverstone now has planning permission to redevelop the pits and paddock complex (I've got the architects and structural engineers drawings on my desk at work!). I would have thought that they feel pretty confident of getting the grand prix back.

:p people have been saying it since before they even won the contract.

Seems like you have been disbelieving it since then...perhaps you know more than we do :D Are you Mr. Gillett himself lol!

Anyway back to the action today, the BMW looks very very ugly! Ferrari back on the pace :)
