I forgot put a wrist watch on this morning, I've not done that in at least 8 years, and for some reason, it turns out I feel naked without one. Anyone else, or am I just really weird?

Same for me. I just feel very wierd without a watch on my wrist. Usually only take it off if i'm sleeping or in the shower etc.

same as you guys - i find that not having my watch with me makes me uncomfortable all day.

Cant sleep with out it on, only got back into wearing a watch for the last 5 months but i hate not wearing it! (except for washing...)

So to the OP your really normal

Before mobiles I used to wear a watch religiously, and it only felt right to take it off before bed. Got used to being without one after a while.

Its weird, when i'm in front of the keyboard, i take my watch off. Both at home and at work, i take it off.

However, if i am even going to lunch for 20 mins, i put it back on. I felt naked when i forgot to put my watch back on the other day after work on the way home. Even though i have my phone to tell me time and i will take it off soon as i get home, i still like to wear it when i am out.

Hmm, yea, I don't think It's being able to tell the time that matters.

I would love to have one device do my phone, personal music, maybe GPS etc. but even when the device tells the time, I'd still wear a watch.

Same.

Always wear mine apart from sleeping and having a wash. Just feels wrong not wearing one. Same with the bracelet I wear on my other wrist. When they have broken or what ever I have to go out and buy a new one 'cos it just feels so strange not wearing one, its horrible.

It varies... if I have things to actually do, or I'm at work I HAVE to have my watch on... if I've got a day off or am just divving about, doing things for pleasure rather than need, I can go without it.

I don't like going out without one, i feel naked as well. I currently have a cheap (£50) swatch watch that has done me well for the past 5 years or so, it has scratchs from where i got it stuck in a satellite and from where i have rubbed it along a wall by accident.

HOWEVER

The battery has gone today, and i don't have a spare :(, i may end up having to go until sept (when im 21 and hope to get a nice watch) without wearing a watch
