i got hit in the back with a bar stool once for dancing.

i was stood outside a walkabout once minding my own business, when i got smashed in the face by one guy, not a lad a guy, for no reason i was 18/19 at the time, then i got dragged down because i tryed it on back.

people do start for no reason at times, its how bizarre people can be.

There are many "Unwritten" rules about how to carry yourselves when out and about (just little things that you pick-up over time/what old-timers say to you etc)

Quite honestly I have always found that the pubs with the worst reputations are the very pubs with the least amount of trouble, sure they may be people snorting coke in the toilets and smoking weed out back and getting absolutely hammered but like I say if you don't judge them they won't judge you, afterall there out for a good time just like you.

tends to be your 'trendy' pubs with the short-gelled-hair lad who has had 3 WKD blue's and can't handle it who is looking for trouble in my experience.

I've also been drinking in pubs since I was 14... Heck I was on the streets drinking from 8. Nothing special...

Today is the present, not the past. This day and age, everything has changed from the times where men used to be men and sorted out their problems fairly...

I am 23 years young and I am talking very much about the present.
I must have filled DOB incorrectly as I was hammered and don't remember even signing up, only realised when I got an email 2 days later. Don't think I can change it now.

I agree that a lot of the time you can scan for trouble before it hits you, act a certain way, mind your own business and trouble will not come your way. There is, however, exceptions to this and I've experienced it. I remember one time, I told a guy who wanted a fight for no apparent reason that I had aids, and that he might catch it if we got into a fight. it actually worked.

i must point out that no-one has started on me for a couple of years now, since around 19, they simply steer clear of me, everytime i see a bunch of people i walk straight into them, but still i get no insults... (it actually makes me feel sad)

Also, if you can go to a pub without trouble coming to you, then I'm sorry but those pubs are not the "worst" pubs...

I didn't say Stokies were special, the list was for the Stokies who know the reputation of these places.
Nobody in their right minds would walk into these places but it never bothered me because I never looked for trouble.

And if youve ever been in that situation you'd know that all chavs are cowards if you stand up to them they run away. they only act hard when their in their groups, and one hard punch normally has them running for the benefits agency.

mate im 6'4 and weight 16+ stone, i still get trouble for no reason at times, doesnt matter how many there are of you or how big you are, i dont have knife resistant, or punch resistant skin

i've also taken a beating, from chavs, they just wanted to fight, i told them to f*ck off. they threw a punch. I wasn't expecting it but was rather shocked afterwards.

mainly because A. they didn't mug me. B. They punched me twice and ran off. C. THEY RAN AWAY!

Who said anything about Chav's? You seem to be hung up on this particular group for some reason? Stop Assuming you know what I mean.
