You spend on a night out?

Even if it is £1 a drink, i somehow still seem to spend £100+ Easily. I need money saving advice. :(
 
take out the amount you want to spend and leave cash/credit cards at home.

make sure you save enough for the taxi home tho!

You're spending at least £80 on drinks for other people and entry then... it's your own fault, really.

Yes, it can be surprising how much money you can spend but generally I find that the amount you spend will almost invariably match up to the amount you have in your wallet - pick an amount and try to stick to it.

Simple really, don't take that much money out with you. Although I do find it rather hard to believe that you're spending £100 a night on booze.

At £1 a drink, £100 is 100 drinks - how the hell are you drinking that much

For an "average" night out, I'll withdraw 30 quid and will only need to take more out if I fancy a taxi home or some grub on the way back
 
I took £40 out, trying to make that my budget.. But after i few drinks i seem to not care how much i spend, untill i wake up.

The Taxi is usually divided between 3-4 mates, so it works out around £2 each.


Maybe its the Jagerbombs.
 
I wasn't on the £1 drinks all night, so it was no where near 100 drinks, or id be dead. The Vodkas aren't strong enough anyway.

but still...
 
Average id say a night out for me never goes over £50... :)

Actually, try to keep it closer to £30! Also used to do lots of £10 nights, great times :D

Dont need to spend lots to have a good wee time :P
 
A Bottle is, But going into a bar, getting a glass filled with ice and vodka and coke, by the time ive finished it the ice is melted, making the vodka weak.
 
Still dont know how you manage it, unless you're buying more rounds than everyone else so end up paying for other people...

The most I've ever spent on one night was £150 but that was a curry, lots of drinks, a strip club with several dances and a lot more drinks.
