Just saw a UFO!!!!

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here, you saw a UFO, no-one (unless someone here is a member of NASA or any 'secret' space organisation) here will know what it is. But it does sound like something coming into the upper atmosphere and burning up, a meteorite or debris.

Thing is though it had been totaly stationary for about 30 seconds or so as I was watching a plane flying past. Then I noticed one of the 'stars' start moving! Surely if it was a metreorite it would have been constantly moving, they aren't totaly still then start moving all of a sudden?

i just smoked my last joint about 20 mins ago, can i please have some of the stuff ur smoking please cause i wanna see UFO's also!

Thanks!

Perhaps it was the ISS? (International Space Station)

I saw it a few times last year and it was amazing - like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaPQqCofwQc

Looked very similar to that video also in terms of speed as well. Though I'd say the object/ufo I just saw was traveling slightly faster. Like I said ^^^ isn't the ISS constantly orbting? If it was the ISS how can it have remained stationary before it started moving?

Magick, a question, you say that it was a clear night and that you could see a lot of stars in the sky... you then go on to say that it could not have been a shooting star due to the fact it appeared stationary at first.

This means out of all the stars in the sky, whilst this was stationary and looking just like any of the other stars in the sky you happened to notice this particular one not moving, just before it reveals itself to be a "UFO"?

No I was watching a plane fly over, then one of the stars in the direction of which the plane was started moving.

Must have been those damned flying reptiles again...

It could be a sat, sometimes they seem to appear out of nowhere as they light up, perhaps it appeared close to another star so it seemed like it started moving, im sure i saw something like this once.

Last two weird sightings i've had were a flash that lasted a second or so that didn't move, couldn't of been an iridium flare as i've seen a few and they move and grow in brightness then quickly dim, plus they have to be within a hour or so of sun rise/set and this was 1 or 2 am. The other was an odd dim light which slowly lit up for a few seconds then went out for a while repeatedly, not your usual plane lights, it was directly above, quite high i imagine and traveled quite slowly, also no sound, never seen anything like it.

Edit: just remembered a really weird light i saw once in the daytime, no movement, was a pinpoint light that just appeared where i happened to be looking on a clear day, it lasted a good 5 seconds or so, no planes in sight so not a reflection, not an iridium flare, probably the weirdest thing i've seen, i even looked away and back again to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks, any ideas?
