Brake caliper colour suggestions welcome :D

Some peeps are saying Hammerite would do for paint? Would that be heat and scuff resistant enough I wonder...

Ive always used Hammerite direct to metal smooth green to replenish my skoda calipers, leave em to dry a few hours then take it out for a thrash and no problems, though overnight to dry is probably wiser.

I went for Hammerite Satin Black in a tin which I'm painting on with a brush and I've got a spare set or rear calipers which I'm painting then fitting later.

Porsche have black\red and yellow (and uses Brembo calipers in all cases )

Brembos on my car are silver

Some will say red, people will argue that red is only for Brembo calipers and looks gash on smaller brakes, you will then go and paint them red and make yourself happy /thread

^^^ This, it does my head in. Paint them whatever colour you want. My Manta calipers are a sort of metallic black/gunmetal colour which is probably for Girling not Lucas, ZOMG somebody stop me!

Paint them whatever colour you like. Brembo do not have a monopoly on red brake calipers!
