Windows 7 + laptop + sleep?

Hey

Just wondering if anyone else is having a weird problem with Win7 and a laptop. I put my laptop to sleep every night and about 6 hours later my laptop turns on with a fuzzy graphics card has broke type pattern on the screen and using the system speaker beeps a lot.

I know its RC but wondering if anyone else has had this?

The sleep function is borked on my PC.

My PC starts itself up on its own if I put it into standby mode.

The only problem with a laptop I've had was switching users. It just blacked out and I had to restart.

My lappie's fine with sleeping. as am i

does it work fine if you wake it up before it goes borky?
maybe a small chance it's running out of battery, unless you leave it plugged in? Though it takes maybe three days of sleeping to drain the battery on mine.
What graphics?

Its plugged in and it has a Nvidia 7600GT in it. just wierd, not much of a problem as i can shut it down but anoying

had it freeze on me once it came outta standbye but didnt happen after... think ill just switch off the whole laptop
