STS-125 Shuttle Mission to Service Hubble Space Telescope Launches on Monday 7pm

Wait for tank seperation. You'll like that.

Edit - aww - lost the signal early - probably due to the due east track. They might replay it at a later time.

That was immense, ;ight the blue touch paper and stand well back :D

I wonder if us normal folks will ever get to experience space flight!

Awesome to watch as always. Also got pee'd off at the aussie comentator so switched back to nasa tv. It might be 20 sec behind but I prefer that to silly aussie talk.

Probably a stupid question but where the the SRB's and the external fuel tank end up? The sea?

SRBs I believe have chutes and are picked up for reuse. Main fuel tank generally burns up in the atmosphere when it's dropped.

Yahoo! feeds were shot to hell tonight. No chance on the 1.2mbps feed which I normally record. The 300kbps and 500kbps feeds seemed just about OK. Sky News covered most of it though which is better quality than all the feeds.
