Best place to get a small loan?

Basically I only want to borrow about £2000 over 2 and a half to 3 years with as low an interest rate as possible.

Know next to nowt about loans, credit cards etc.. don't need much cash but don't want pay a huge interest rate if I can avoid it.

Any pointers, tips, recommended places? See decent rates around 8% on 3 or 4k plus but I don't need that much really.

About 2% of the balance every month iirc.

Have a look at a local credit union

This is credit card borrowing.
An unsecured loan at best will be about 15%, and more likely over 20%.

Pretty sure it was Tesco and Sainsburys.

I will have to take a look at credit cards when I get some proper time to sit down and look properly, may turn out to be the better option?

My only advice is not to get a loan. Best to save the money you need every month instead of paying back the bank extra.

£2k is credit card territory really, no-one will lend an amount that small at an even half sensible rate. Do you not have a job? Can't you just live light for a couple of months or whatever and raise the cash that way?
