New Track Day Car

Are those porsches ever going to be as fast as something that was designed for the track but made road legal? Can see them maybe having the top speed but not as planted round the corners?

The fact is that most of the cars on this thread bar the Pork will fall to bit with regular use (or very little use in some cases) where as a GT3 will simply turn up, do 100 laps, drive home and do the same week after week, year after year. It can be tweaked and played with, takes real skill to learn and set up (half of the fun) and is very quick once mastered. The CSL is much the same but easier to exploit and a little less brand presence but fact remains that both are built for the job of track and road and NO OTHER CAR will blend both skills and with reliability and opportunity to tweak like the BM and the Pork.

How tall are you? im 6ft and was reaching alittle for the pedals in a caterham 7.

For track fun i really cant think of a better car for the budget myself.
