I don't see why it has to be made all the more complicated...
If I want to show up as being online, I stay online, If I want to not show up as being online, I switch to offline, why complicate things

People who I really want to be in contact with are on my msn list/mobile phone. The Facebook chat things disabled anyway as it brings Opera to its knees.
