Play Age Of empires 2 in Hi Res possible ?

No it's limited to 1280x1024

LAN enjoyment would rocket 500% if AOK2 was playable at bigger resolutions.

It's a 2d game, so at that res your peasants would be about 1mm high. Hope you have a magnifying glass

Uhhh, he has a 30'' screen, they will be bigger in full hd on such a screen than on 1280x960 on 17''.


I have tried looking on various forums for this too and unfortunately, the best they have achieved is make black borders around a 1280x960 box...


If I could Only play this on 1920x1080 . It's sooo annoying that they have make it like this. Red Alert 2 for example has no problems running at 1920x1080 or even 2560x1024 if I wanted.
