I said there hasnt been a next Gen God of War yet, because there hasnt been. And there are a lot of people dying to see next gen God of War. All those Ps2 owners. Who loved the last one, And thought it looked amazing as it was. Will be running to buy this one. Which makes me think in terms of sales, It could quite easily slap the ass of Gears.

I hate people who use the eyerolling smiley, I personally think it shows a bad attitude.
 
Sony will probably advertise God of War III by showing an old woman in a house getting blown up.

I still can't believe they thought that was a good idea for a PS2 advertisement.
 
At least i can see how a Gears movie would work, if they keep it true to the material and its just a basic buddy war film if you get what i mean. Not oscar material but it could be an enjoyable film. On a slightly related note, ive also read that they are going to make an Army of Two Film!
 
Read about this the other day - the casting of the Rock is really an odd one for me, me and a friend were discussing this and said that if they had to pick a wrestler surely Batista would be a better choice?

My personal choice for the roles would be:

Fenix - Mickey Rourke
Baird - Brad Pitt (Ala Fight Club)
Cole - The guy that voices Cole, Lester Speight - he is a pretty much Cole in real life.
Dom - Not been able to decide.

At end of it all though - I don't know if it would be a great movie, I don't get why we have to turn everything into a movie - some IPs really only suit certain platforms, focus on getting them perfect on that one, not a jack of all trades as a book / movie / game / ice cream brand.

I dont think the rock is that bad of an actor.

Get smart was a great movie imo :D

However I dont think the rock is a good pick for Gears. Then again like most movies based on games. It will most likely be naff anyway.

Although I still like the idea of the Bioshock movie. If they can pull it off well might be a good one :)
 
I'd rather see the Rock as fenix than Mickey Rourke to be very honest
Travolta probably looks the closest though

Resident Evil - first couple were ace, i liked extinction too but different tastes i guess
Tomb Raider - good movies for what they were
Mortal Kombat (original) - nice cheesy movie
Super Mario was ok
Final Fantasy Advent Children
Max Payne i thought was pretty good
Shenmue - quality movie
Siren - is ok
Hitman was ok
