***The Official Infamous Thread***

It was never available on the JP store, only the HK store, they require different acc's, I have it but I got it from sharing from someone else.

Anyway as I said this demo doesn't activate on the PS3 so if Zebede does have a HK acc that he managed to download the demo with then he will be able to share it with as many people as he likes, although I have a strange feeling that he may of also the got the demo from someone else like I did, in that case he won't be able to share it at all, I hope I'm wrong though as I really want to know what you guys think of the demo.

Bah I did indeed get it from someone else, sorry guys. :(

I thought it may come up in "Downloads" area at the top right of the PS Store but it seems not. As lowrider said, it would have been nice to hear some of your opinions about it.

Where is msmalls74? Bloody fanboy is always on his PS3 getting stuff like this I bet he has this on his Japan account that is why he is keeping quiet. ;)

In December, I played Infamous for the first time and told you that it was awesome. Five months later, I'm standing by that statement and backing it up with about 30 hours of playtime. Cole's powers are cool, the graphic novel cutscenes are stunning, the story is intriguing, and the city is alive. I could go on and on about this game -- about my hunt for the final few Blast Shards, about the sick joy in blasting a pedestrian and then sucking his bio-energy, about the subtle Sly Cooper references -- but to truly appreciate what Sucker Punch has created, you'll have to sit down and play this game.

Infamous is amazing.

I completely agree with Greg. Sucker Punch has delivered an outstanding superhero game, one that works really well on pretty much every level. The powers are incredibly fun to use, the upgrade and Karma systems allow you to customize your play experience, the city feels alive and like you're a part of it, and, perhaps most impressively, the story really pays off in the end. The powers that you get access to are obviously the most important part, and Sucker Punch did a fantastic job of making you feel powerful, not only in terms of combat, but with your ability to navigate the city quickly and really feel like you own it. Being able to grind rails to quickly cover ground or hover to cross between skyscrapers reminds me of the good parts of recent Spider-Man games, but it's only one piece in a much bigger puzzle.

While some of the in-engine presentation aspects could be better, the comic book-inspired cutscenes are fantastic and do an amazing job of really bringing you into the story. The characters evolve and make interesting decisions, and they serve not only to give you reasons for taking on the various missions, but they play a key role in the story, what happens to Cole and, most importantly, why Cole goes through what he does. There are no throwaway and unimportant characters here, which is extremely refreshing.

For me, Infamous serves as a stellar reason for owning a PlayStation 3. It also proves that Sucker Punch is capable of creating dark, deep and interesting tales, and I'm really hoping that a sequel isn't too far off.

But by the game’s conclusion – which is replete with a twist that’s both credible and shocking – Cole McGrath has established himself as the PlayStation 3’s most exciting new mascot. While not wholly original, the game's blend of open world ideals with superhero powers is done with a verve that’s unsurpassed, and the mesh of platforming and freeform combat is uniquely satisfying. The few quirks and quibbles will be no doubt be ironed out for the inevitable sequel, but for now we're more than happy with this, one of the best PlayStation 3 exclusives to date.

Does slound like the game has a few problems with Frame rate and pop in, doesnt sound as bad as GTA's though. Im surprised how well people who have played the demo rate this game, think the demo is out on the 21st May for the rest of US.

damn more games to buy... i have too many games sitting here waiting to be started & finished but im an absolute sucker for special editions :o

Hmmm should I get this? Any MP as Im usually a sucker for that.

Streeteh when you do get RE5 I might get it to play co-op (damn Res2 spoilt me). Depends on what else Ive purchased (isnt Bionic Commando out soon?).

And no I havent started Uncharted :p

I didn't think the demo was that impressive to be honest, good yes, but it didn't amaze me like crackdown did when that demo hit, however the review is tempting me. Is it out next week or the week after?

Or maybe its from PSN Europe?

Be great if someone installs/activates it on a dummy account so they can share it as it doesnt seem to be limited to 5 accounts...
