People who dress as goths do so because they like the clothing style. End of story. It's not about trying to be different. Do I want to look at people wearing tracksuits and the latest 'fashionable' Nike trainers? Ideally not but everyone's different, leave them be.

Seriously though No Personal Attacks! I know both people involved in this (Robert and Sophie) and i actually walked Robert home from work the night this happened. Both we're neither how you make them out to be. Close your ****ing mouth before someone shuts it..

Don't you think he has slightly more justification to be angry than the average forum member since he knew them personally? In which case he has every right to be directly offended by idiotic, point-proving keyboard warriors such as yourself who are more concerned with appearing clever on the internet than being empathetic and human.

And to everyone who is saying "leave them be" - what do you think I do? Of course I leave them be. I don't give money to their charities either. By the same token I hate everyone around Edinburgh wearing the same Jack Wills clothes purely because they are from there. I let them be too and I equally don't buy into their charities.

It wasn't a threat, more a warning. The lads that murdered Sophie thought the same, they were ignorant and closed minded. I suppose that sort of attitude tells a lot about a person and suggests they may have been abused while younger.

It's not a goth charity?


It is a charity attempting to stop prejudice, hatred and intolerance (hence the name...).

The real reason you won't help it is because of your prejudice/hatred/intolerance of goths.

It also seems to me like you are intolerant of charities that want to stop intolerance.

I don't know any goths who sit outside churches and smoke drugs. The people you describe just sound like cliquy teenagers trying to be cool.
