Zero S Supermoto - Electric Bike

Looks very good, noise really wont be in a issue in a city even with the nosiest of bikes you still get pulled out on.
Probably be cheaper in the long run as a commuter or a learner bike.

Interesting. A weeks commuting could cost me under £1 if you ingnored the price of the bike. Sadly, it's the price of the bike that's going to hold it back. I could definitely use one of these. I commuted all year round on a 125cc doing many more miles than I do now and that didn't bother me so this would be an ideal cost saver. I'm not going to spend 8k though! If someone was to subsidise it, I'd go for it.

I wonder how it will be classed license wise. Sounds like you'll need a full license but they can limit the output electronically? Open to abuse of course but if it was CBT level compliant they would have a decent market for them.

probably limit the motor electronically to 33bhp then do a derestricted model.

They're in Berkeley Square... you look poor if you only have a Boxster around there.

I dont think id go for one myself (I like bikes for the sound as much as the acceleration)
the link to the american website says 35 miles on 'power' and 60 'economy' so great for a commute to work.

well the acceleration is their a electric bike with decent power supply at a decent voltage 72+ will out shift most 600's.
Its just the noise that some people will miss, but tbh i can see this technology being used more commuting and off road motocross espically with the cost of fuel and the lawsuit climate were in at the moment.
