Terminator Salvation Requirements - Your gonna love this ....

err all xbox games are at wide screen rez?
PC gaming elitism aside this is going to be a movie tie in so its chances of sucking are well ahead of the curve.
Im doing my best ignore the "robin reliant to a Ferrari" comment as its pure flame bait with no basis in fact.

Trailer for the film looks pretty cool though

Errr wtf? So because i don't have a £200 processor i'm 'living in the past'? You shouldn't have to fork out a fortune just to play games on a PC.

Buy a Q6600 for half the price of a Q9550, overclock it by 25-33% easily... Must be faster than a standard Q9550 then! :)

I'd love you to try and prove that a 360 is more powerful then a Q9550 and a GTX 200 series graphics card.

And id like you to prove that a PC is really 20 times as powerful as an Xbox.

No-one is stating that PC arent the most powerful gaming platform, your just trying to say that Xbox are so far of the pace they are useless which obviously isnt true.

put crysis on a xbox 360 you'll get more then a red light.

I really don't get all these stupid arguments! The Xbox360 is astounding! I don't own one, and have never used one, but I know enough that considering the cost it is an amazing peice of kit.

If all you want is a simple, RELIABLE, gaming platform, then surely the XBox makes good sense. There's nothing wrong with it, and plenty that's right.

Now, for goodness sake...

I just watched the trailer and I'm pretty unimpressed, the name is a big clue as to what the craic is so yeah there's gonna be lots of flying skynet gubbins....but to me the terminatorr series is about big scary robots that are seemingly indestructible.

more walking robots + plasma rifles please!

Exactly, though I think Knubje's comment was more to incite random flaming than anything else :p

Coincidentally i just budgeted for an upgrade to a Q6700 early next month. I do however resent the fact that having any less is considered 'behind the times' by some. An attitude like that will, as i said previously, alienate the majority of the PC gaming masses. Some people need to remember that we on these forums are very much enthusiasts and make up only a tiny proportion of the gaming community. If the attitude developers adopted is that every game should be programmed to those specs it would reduce the number of users dramatically as only a small proportion of gamers would be able to even run the game.

Obviously this isn't referring to you and when i say this it's coming off the back of someone saying that a Q9550 is 'the way PC gaming should go'. It really isn't.

Lets see when it comes out if its unoptimised.
As it could be that if your prefer to use a Pad the 360 version is recommended.
