Who's going Rome then?

Thanks Greenlizard :)

I'm going to take a bit more then I thought :p

Really looking forward to having a look round aswell as just getting there and seeing friends ! Cheers!

Have a good un'!

I was still thinking of driving down even without tickets, the atmosphere in Rome would be amazing.

How do you know your going? The ballots not been held yet..

Me and my dad have applied for 2 tickets, although it probably won't be me who uses them.

Edit: Nvm, read the thread now :D

Make sure you all bring plenty of pennies with you for the beer! Was there last bank holiday weekend and in the back street bars it's about €6 for a 0.4cl beer, if you go to any of the sight seeing places then it can be €8+ for a 0.4cl beer! Food on the main places is dear too, had margherita pizza, fries and 2 x beers and it was €45. It's cheaper in the Supremercatos though, 3 bottles of Peroni for €2.50.

It's a great city though, so if you are there for longer than the final day have a stroll around and see some sights (if you want to see the Vatican or Sistene Chapel be prepared to queue unless you get there very early - 1hr queue for the Sistene and we got there at 8.30am, talking to a guy on the plane and he queued for 2.5hrs the same afternoon!)

Can I be your carer for the day please? What do I need to do :p? I'm in Salford aswell so not too far i'm sure... :)

The only people who are guaranteed tickets in the ballot are Season Ticket Holders with 3 Euro away credits and the exec tickets who renewed for next year before Sunday (What a joke)...

Me and a friend have applied for tickets, plane tickets are about 400 quid each way, we're looking at other forms of transport. Even if we dont get tickets, theres no chance i'll be staying in manchester to watch it, we're off to FergieFields :p

Does anyone know if there will be any big screens up in Manchester? Or have the Rangers fans memory still ruined it for us?

hmmmm....

£250 for outbound and return plane ticket to turin.... Got to work out how to get from turin to rome and back and hopefully find some cheap accomodation for 1 night, Or i could just go on the 27th and stay up celebrating all night!

Do you really think police are going to check ~70,000 (or however many people are going) tickets?

Tickets for the CL final have been personalised for as long as i can remember and they never get checked.
