Wigan v Man Utd

PREMIER LEAGUE
Venue: JJB Stadium
Date: Wednesday, 13 May Kick-off: 2000 BST
Not expecting much for tonight result wise, due to a cash flow problem I am not going to the game but watching it in my local, no doubt it will be a sell out.

United have won their last six Premier League games; Wigan are chasing their first win in six.

This is the 150th Premier League game, and 75th at home for the Latics, who are still searching for their first Premier League victory over a member of the 'Big Four'.

:( We have lost all form and cant score so a goal would be nice.

There not playing for anything tho, probably why.

Got to be 3 points this, no disrespect to Wigan but Cheets has summed it up really, United are on good form and Wigan are not.

Then to wrap it up against Le Arse at the weekend.

Steve Bruce has never taken a point off Man.U. in 7 attempts with Wigan, nowt will change tonight.

I hope Rooney starts, he's my FF captain and Ferguson goes and bloody rests him against Man City for most of the game. I haven't seen anything from Wigan recently to suggest an upset but anything can happen.

Any of the few decent players wigan have will be poached in the off season. They are my favs for the drop next year along with 2 of the 3 that come up.

Amazed if Manu don't have this wrapped up by half time.

I think this could be a tough game. A draw tonight would set the nerves jangling a bit for weekend and anything could happen. Tonight simply is a must win game for us

Get it done tonight and then concentrate on Arsenal at the weekend, I would take a 1-0 tbh

I hope it's one of those games where we get every decision, I hope there is a controversial penalty to us and that Wigan feel hard done by.

Anything as long as cheets chokes on his pint in the pub.

Use to it, now where is the worlds smallest violin. ;)

As long as Cattermole goes through Ronaldo or Rooney I will be happy.

bah, caught in two minds, despise liverpool for the football they play and would far prefer Utd to win the title, however, a loss tonight would hopefully mean they don't win the title by beating Arsenal. We've already been ripped to shreds in the past 3 weeks, another big loss aswell as making the title certain for Utd at the same time will destroy the team.

THen again, another huge loss and losing the title might anger Arsenal fans/board so much that Wenger resigns/is fired before next season, might also cause RVP, Fabregas, Gallas, Arshavin, Toure and anyone else half decent to smeg off.

5 man midfield with Berba uptop on his own

Should make for a great match (and Anderson and Carrick in central midfield with Scholes)
