logo and icon design?

Hi guys can anybody give me an idea of how much i should be looking at paying *roughly* for somebody to design me a logo and approx 20/30 icons.

and if anybody can recommend anybody for this or even offer to do it for free/cheaply that would be appreciated.
 
sorry yes web interface icons.

the reason i wanted a batch of them is so they are customised for me and also they all have the same style as the logo.

Have you had a look at the famfam icon set, as they could easily fit into any website. iirc site is something like famfamfam.com :)
 
It really depends on what you require. A logo can range from £100 to several thousand. You also don't say if its a digitisation of your own sketched logo or whether the designer needs to create the logo as this can take considerably longer.

The same really applies for the icons although I suspect they're not going to be fairly simple in the sense of changing the wording.

So as to price range I would suspect somewhere in the region of £500+ although you may get a learner/newbie to the field do it for less :)

yes i have seen these they are great for general use but I need specific icons and wanted my own custom ones which can be used across my site.
