Telegraph: Are UFOs real? US Presidents / Famous people who believed

mark my words, disclosure WILL happen and it will be very soon.
but it will be a distraction, for something bigger and far more fearful.

ok any chance of a rough time scale here?

how long am I going to have to remember this post 1 year 2 years? if it's more than 3 I'll probably forget.

Someone write it down!

How are teki and magick not being banned for the constant regurgitated spam they post?

I understand everyone has their delusions...er...opinions, but do they have to remind us 4 times a day?

Just name one

The list of famous people who believe in a God is waaaaaaaay bigger.
Just because you're famous it doesn't mean that you've got all your marbles.

lol :D I don't know how you meant that to read, but it's funny to me.

I reckon that there are aliens out there somewhere (think how vast our universe is), but how likely it is that they've come to Earth is not very. UFOs exist, but what they actually are is unknown.

Of course there is going to be life somewhere else in the universe. Considering the numbers of galaxies in the close observable universe and the billions of stars they contain there has to be a fair few nice blue green planets like earth dotted about.

The chances of an advanced space faring civilisation being in existance at the same time as us is also very possible, when considering the vast numbers involved.

Where the chances of us meeting them drops is when we consider the distance they might be from us, and what is possible with the laws of physics.

Ask any scientist and they will tell you, to discount so called "faster than light" travel is not only arrogant but illogical. Yes our current understanding of the physical universe would suggest that it is impossible, but only the most foolish of people would claim to know everything. We as a race still do not understand many of the things around us, mavity and magnetism to name but two. Yes we know what they do and we know their effects but we really still dont understand what they actually ARE.

To discount alien visitors offhand as being "silly" is in itself silly. But to claim every wierd sighting IS an alien is also being daft.

There is lots of other life in the universe.

However, the chances of

a) Them resembling us in any way, shape or form
b) Them travelling in flying saucers
c) Them being within light years of us

Is fantastically remote.

And just because we live on a blue planet and are carbon based doesn't mean other life is anything like us.

Remember, not so long ago people thought the world was flat because they didn't know any better :)

Let's get some facts straight please. If you mean alien invasion fleets, say so. UFOs are unidentified flying objects, and nothing more.

I think you'd probably find yourself being less frustrated if you stopped being so literal. you're well aware that 99% of people are referring to otherworldly devices when they say "UFO". The precision of the words used is irrelevant, as what is important is the implication.

No, i dont believe in them.

But they wouldn't know what the top secret planes are, or the physics behind them. Then hey could have seen natural phanomina.

People love throwing the military names around as some sort of evidence for et ufo's. Bu it just doesn't mean anything.

If also seen ufo's, but guess what they turned out to be bog standard aircraft. One of them was the flying tube ufo. It changed course and suddenly the wings and tail plane came into view. Just because your brain does not understand it, doesn't mean it's et or something odd.

loads of airline pilots , military generals (inc ones from the US) and many astronauts claim to have witnessed UFO's which i would imagine are a lot more credible than any president/famous person

Saying that you've seen a UFO is vastly different to saying you've seen something that was created by extraterrestrial life, anything flying where you don't know what it is can be described as a UFO so I've got little doubt that many people have seen UFOs, that still isn't enough to convince me of extraterrestrial life having created them.
