My family has been pro-Labour for years and years...except this time I'll be voting for the Tories, just because I think they might be able to do some good, or at least not make things any worse.

At the moment Labour but they have my vote by a 'baw hair'. Probably by the time the general election comes round I'll do the unthinkable and vote Tory.

well, it's not junk. scotland has enjoyed a disproportionate amount of investment under labour, as well as fake indepence which involves spending more money from otherr areas of the uk in scotland without the people forced to pay for it getting ny say in the matter... no wonder the scots like labour

I can't vote in the UK but if I could I'd probably vote for the Lib Dems.

So if anyone in SW London is thinking about abstaining, go vote for them instead ;)

We have to put up with Alex Salmond trying to slowly put surely push us towards independence so we deserven the extra few million for our plight.

I'd happily grant scotland independance, if that's what they want. cheaper forr te rest of us and a good employment boast for the rest of the uk

That's junk. Have you forgotten that the SNP are in power here?

I also fail to see how either Scotland or Wales has "got a lot out of Labour".

Beat me to it.

Years ago I was a member of the Labour Party but the next election I shall be voting LibDem.
Partly tactically as it will keep out the Tories (Labour haven't a prayer where I live)
but mainly because I have such admiration and respect for our sitting member, Vince Cable the Libdem Treasury spokesperson.
So I shall be voting more for the person rather than the party, assuming he stands of course.

Still Labour and Brown & Co for me, i really hope that the Torries don't get in, it will end disasterously if they do, they will never be able to prevent major corruption.
Oh boy, that made me chuckle... 'cos the Labour years aren't ending disasterously and there's certainly no corruption with Labour, oh no!

I'll be voting for the local MP who best represents me and my community, last time round it was Nick Clegg as he was the only local candidate who talked about the things that mattered to me. Next time it maybe someone different only time will tell, when will people in this country realise that you can't vote for the party leaders unless you live in the right constituency and that blindly voting labour or conservative regarless of the local candidate is stupid.

I'd vote for my current labour MP (Bob Marshall Andrews) if he was standing again, as he's a bit of a rebel and prepared to tell the whips to get stuffed if he thinks party policy is wrong. I think he's standing down though, and I won't vote for anyone who'll just toe the party line (whichever party it is) in order to advance their political career, which unfortunately means most of them. I'll have to see what candidates we get, but I'm not hopeful of getting anyone of much merit.

I'm still not entirely decided, though at the moment leaning towards Lib dem.

That said i quite like the local Labour councillor, so perhaps in a local election i would still vote for him.
