World at War 50% off @ Steam

bought, thanks for the headsup :)

I loved CoD2 and CoD4, but could never bring myself to pay £30 for a game on Steam.

£15's a bargain if it's anything like the previous two :)

Is it worth it for €25 though?

€25 Euros is still a bit steep for you guys. We here only pay £14.99 GBP and at the current exchange rate of £1 GBP = €1.12 Euro that makes it only €16.79 Euros :(

If you want the game then I'm sure someone will happily make a gift purchase (in return for €16.79 Euros paypal/bank transfer/etc) in GBP if needed :)

Is this worth buying if you own CoD4? I mean, it's just supposed to be CoD4 with a WW2 skin? I played the demo before it was released and it was alright.

I'd get it but it uses Punkbuster doesn't it :( My OS (W7) conflicts with it, which results in me getting kicked from any games that use it.

Absolute bargain and should be snapped up...

try not to listen to the cod4 fanbois ;), sure that game is great but if you like your war games old school, old weapons and better maps then COD5 does it well.. at £14.99 its defo worth investing

oh btw i also love 'me' cod4 , i just prefer COD5 mp

I see.

I think it will have to be bought then.

Worth a go at £15, single player was really good and so was co-opping with with a friend. Mp is good probably on par with cod 4 but I have to admit I really didn't play it much and sold it on the MM. Wasn't all too keen on the pacific theme :(

i have not played cod 4 or cod 5...should i get this? Or should ijust wait for the best...BF3 or bad company 2...;)
