so numerous people can get these problems everytime they play but they cant reproduce one.

its the biggest cop out ive ever seen.

so if they dont see it it doesnt exist :( come on thats bs

these are the questions i asked him about

why does upheaval map lag or pause or freeze?

are you fixing the alt tab disconnect from server issue?

restart of pc when you leave the game?


so none has these problems yet theres a 20 pg thread on just one of those questions which they havent answered ONCE!
 
I've never had a problem with disconnecting if i alt tab out.

I've never had a problem with my PC restarting when i leave a game.

I've never had any major lag/pausing problems.

You're a minority, get over it.

im not minority like said before but nevermind.

there is a 20 pg thread on lag pausing issues on upheaval on the official callof duty forums so its not a minority.

its something to do with the fire or something cant remember what but some modder found out but no treyarch person has explained why.


the restarting bug is massive and effects lots of players.

again massive threads have been created about it but no replies.

also the alt tab issues.

there are work arounds but most people if not 90 percent if in game and alt tab it disconnects you from server.

Actually hes not the minority, i get those exact same problems

its not bad enough to stop me playing the game but certainly bad enough to warrant a fix on either of those bugs mentioned

We haven't reproduced your other problems. Not everybody has them believe it or not. Just because there is a big 20 page thread does not mean everybody gets it - that's still an astonishingly small number of players. As the PC Patching Process (announcement at the top of this forum) states, we must reproduce the issue locally before we can even begin to ponder a fix. If we can't see the problem, we can't fix it. We can't just take wild swings in the darkness, guessing at fixes. We need to be able to reproduce the problem, integrate a fix, and re-test the previous steps that would have normally yielded the bug, and verify there is no longer a bug.

The other problems you are reporting have not been reproduced locally, so we don't have any explanation or solution for you, nor can we say "yup, we're working on a fix" - because we're not. We are investigating (as I've said before please use Search function) but we have not reproduced them yet. They are likely one-off driver compatibility issues. I would suggest you upgrade your Video Drivers, DirectX drivers, and Audio drivers. You may want to upgrade your chipset drivers for your motherboard if you have any onboard devices as well.

tbh its a fair response, its just not the one you wanted ....

the game runs perfectly fine for me, i can alt-tab out , i have no freeze or lag problems and neither do any of the mates i play online with and thats every night..

the game had bugs on release many caused by the audio, but what game doesnt have bugs at first ??? anyway those problems were patched and its all lollipop lane now ....
 
when i alt-tab "sometimes" when i try to go back in the game is just black screen and i have to kill it in taskman :p
 
I actually really enjoyed this game, I never got to play Treyarchs first attemp COD 3, and this was a pleasant surprise. And also never had problems with it...apart form the fact that my graphics card can't run it very well.
 
hey guys , every time i try to play in windowed mode (to gain access to my rcon admin) i get kicked by punkbuster for "corrupt memory" or something , any ideas on how to fix this ?
 
Just beat the game Saturday. Sorry to hear so many people having troubles with this game. It played flawless for me and I thought it was a great game. Only wish the new one was out now :D

I actually got a little choked up at the end...

sorted this , turns out it was fraps causing the problem thanks for the replies though :rolleyes:;):D
 
I love call of duty waw but surround sound does not sound good with this game for some reason, i know i have an old 5.1 dolby pro system and onboard sound but on other games it sounds a lot better.
 
I've just bought WaW after playing the Zombie mod on my mates ps3 - gaaaaagh controller hell!!

When i look for a game to join there are bugger all - like 4 :eek: and they all seem to be using mods :(

How to you get a decent server list for this game?

Ta.... but why is everyone so obsessed with HC mode? It ruins the gameplay.... theres no point in using any of the bolt action rifles, as everyone just runs around spraying with the Thompson or PPsH41. :(

I like to need a bit of effort to get a kill.... like actually lining the enemy up in my sights!
