ATI 9.5 download

Cheers! Hopefully they work well :)

Edit: They have FINALLY fixed (or refixed!) the 3D clock bug on the second 4870X2! Great work ATI! Anyone have the release notes with these drivers?

Just downloaded and installed 9.5 and here the results

Vantage

9.3
3D Marks 14576
CPU 14402
GFX 14636

9.4

3D Marks 14310
CPU 14208
GFX 14345

9.5
3D Marks 14632
CPU 14374
GFX 14720

So a slight increase on performance from both 9.3 and 9.4. Also I've a feeling the graphics quality/definition has improved in this version as the graphics in Vantage seemed to have more life about them, but that could be perception.

Note : - It took two reboots to get a stable system after install, had bad graphics corruption in Vantage after first reboot.

Not tried any games as yet

Happen to have any comparisons with the 8.61s that were released a while back?

They are the same as the Win7 drivers released a few weeks ago.

Auto-tune still completely useless then..

Tried the new one for the first time, it clocked my memory all the way up to 990 on both cards despite the fact that my monitor switched off almost instantly after a screen full of artifacts about 5 seconds after loading a game.

Yes they are, they were released early on the 5th for Win 7, as that was the first day of Microsofts WHQL programme, and they wanted to be the first out of the door with a WHQL certified driver for it, which they were, as Nvidia's WHQL driver for Win 7 appeared on the 6th (day after), so now they are just going to release the XP and Vista sets, but the Vista sets have also got the Win 7 driver included in them from the 5th, as when it was released back then, it was just as an update on the 9.4 download page, so some people may have missed it.
