I love Phantasy Star Online and enjoyed Phantasy Star Uni even though it was no where near as good as PSO. As anyone played Phantasy Star Portable? It may be the first game that'll make it worth owning a PSP for.

Phantasy Star Portable is pretty much just Phantasy Star Universe and its expansion pack Ambition of the Illuminus, but with some different things like levels, characters etc. Basically same world as PSU, but different storyline kind of thing.

It does looks great for the PSP and shame it isn't online, so you'll have to find friends who have this for some decent wireless co-op play. Still fun nevertheless, especially if you enjoyed it's bigger Console brothers.

If you want a portable one that "is" online, then wait for Phantasy Star Zero for the DS. This is the one I am waiting for as it pretty much tries to go back to the roots that was Phantasy Star Online (The best one!).

You'll no doubt enjoy it if you're liked PSO and PSU, I considered buying it but I'm going to resubscribe to PSU after my exams :D.

PSU's offline story mode was okay if you didn't mind the hilariously cheesey TV episodic style. It would have been great if it offered much harder enemies and of course, SPILT-SCREEN CO-OP! I mean even Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II with it's limited offline mode was still fun just because of that aspect.
