Hi all,

I might be looking to insure a little van (maybe a Citreon Berlingo or something)

I ran a quote on e-vaninsurance and it came out for £1700 for a year  (That's as much as the Zed!!!)

So, what other companies are good for van insurance?

Also thinking maybe a PAYG insurance policy...as it won't be used all the time..

Any help welcome :)

Also any advice on what vans to avoid would be welcome! :D

I'm only paying £400 a year for a Mercedes Vito. That's with 1 years NCB.

However this is only for TPFT, fully comp on vans is massively expensive in comparison to a car. Often that much more expensive that it makes it not worth it as 1 or 2 years premiums would replace the van.

Thanks all. Does the same apply to vans as it does cars...say if I add my Dad will it drop it a load? :)

Nope, opinion.

Regardless of what you think of my car it still makes me smile whenever I drive it and that's all that matters :)

I wasn't debating its ability to make you smile. Just that the performance, desirability, and overall package isn't worth paying the premium of Group 16 for.

This IS fact, just do some comparisons with other Group 16 cars.
