RX7 Project car!

That's a pretty decent price you paid :) DreXeL has given some good advice but head on over to fd:uk and mrc for some more help too.

I'd thoroughly recommend decatting, a better exhaust/downpipe radiator and intercooler for reliability. Obviously you need an Apexi Power FC or similar with that lot to get it mapped. Just keep up the maintenance..oil, plugs etc and you'll be fine!

Agreed. With a downpipe/exhaust, Intercooler, Power FC, boost at 0.8bar and a street port you will see ~370bhp and it shouldn't be any more unreliable than stock if mapped by a good mapper who specialises in rotaries.

The key to keeping them reliable is build them properly without cutting any corners, upgrade the cooling system (better rad, Alu expansion tank) and keep on top of the oil and spark plugs.

daam never realized so many MRC 'ers were on here :P

i'd go with pretty much every thing thats been said. Personally i'd go for a mild street port whilst rebuilding. Glad to see you got a decent chassis :D
