Can get enough of TF2 at the moment, so bring on the updates!

So wait... are they doing the sniper update or is that part of the joke? Otherwise why would they cross out the word Sniper and write Spy on it?
But there was loads of speculation on the steam forum that the sniper update was actually a spy.
E.g, here
http://www.teamfortress.com/spyupdate/day02_english.htm
"killer assassin" is crossed out
At the end it says
"PS - Tell him I make more money than a doctor
PPS - Actually, just tell him I AM the doctor now."
i.e. spy disguised into medic.
why does the url of the sniper update say spy? spy update?
It think it will be a double update, as its not been that the spy was disguised at the sniper, but that the 'corpse' that is lying on the floor in the razorback update is acually a spy with his new dead ringer watch, so has now managed to kill the sniper and highjack his update...
Expect the sniper to get his own back with something later in the update. New mele weapon probubly.
Nice two updates in one, although I am rubbish as the spy so will probably be a sniper when released.
Wondering what the hats and stuff will be like going forward, I have a feeling there will be a load of free ones and then valve will release micro-transaction clothes that will allow them to earn revenue from further updates. Maybe be a one off clothes store access dlc that gives you access to then all or buy just the ones you want. If they make it cheap enough it may catch on say 50p for a piece of clothing. Or £2 for a full suit / re-dress
Once again Valve showing a top class marketing campaign but at some point they got to figure out away of making some more money off it.
Figures show large sales increases every time they update the game, it is already financially viable to release these free updates. I can't see see Valve ever getting involved with Micro Transactions.
