TF2 Sniper Update

Pipeline sounds like fun but I can't see Sawmill and Nucleus being played very much, there seems to be a distinct hatred for arena.

Personally I think they can be good fun when everybody is restricted to melee only combat for a quick match or two in between all the payload maps.

I believe Valve will be running a free weekend shortly because of the new sniper update (That's the rumour I heard anyways).
Besides, it's only €20, well worth it imo, especially considering the amount of after sales support Valve are giving it.
Also, surely you couldn't still need it for that LAN a few weeks ago...

So are they going to keep updating the classes with more weapons etc?

If they do that its such a good idea, will keep people playing more and wont make people as bored as much.

Well they are going through them all and updating with unlocks/achievements/etc.

To be honest since TF2 was released Valve have been spot on with updates, new maps, changes and fixes for this game.

Another reason I think this is one of the best FPS games available on PC at the moment. So much variety and so well balanced, it's also probably one of the first FPS games where I don't sit there touretting at my monitor every time I die :D

heh heh still do a bit of touretting, but there's usually some laughter too. Best online game I've played.

There will be a free weekend on or around the time the update is released.

But to be honest, if you dont own the Orange Box already, you should be lynched! lol

Get it, it will be the best £20 you ever spend!

EDIT: Make that £17... even better!
 
The Razorback strikes me as kinda pointless... Im guessing its a replacement to the SMG, so you have no medium range weapon, and it protects you against a single back stab per life, while also slowing you down... Any decent spy will easily be able to stab you, suffer the pause of watiting for theif knife to kool without being seen, and then come back and stab you again, and its not like you could kill him when you notice hes stabbed you, as you wont have an SMG to use on him...

Not going to be something im grinding for....

I don't like the sound of infinite cloak :( i hate spies.

Great catalogue style to the page, valve do make some quality stuff
