Pretty much everyone on here loves the Acoustic Energy Aego Ms. I am very tempted to buy these too, but they are quite old now, most reviews and forums mentioning them being from 2006. Are they still top dog? CNET recently put them down to a 3 star rather than 5 saying that there is now better about.

Another question, I was first drawn to buy the logitech Z-2300, and a lot of people have said they are very bassy, but the aegos are better for mid range clarity and bass defination, but I like bass too... will i be dissapointed with the bass from the aegos? Is there something that is best of both worlds?

Iv got the Aego's and they are amazing!! The volume from such small speakers is amazing. if you are striving for more bass on the Aego's there are 3 different settings for the bass, I know the actuall speakers stay the same but you just get more bass. not sure how the aego's compare to the z-2300's, but the sound quality from the aego's is amazing

ive got the logitech Z4 set, about £50 and its really good.
Great looking satellites with the logos on the two passive drivers.
They give enough sound to fill a large room with ease, and there's no distortion when you crank the volume up.
And speaking of volume, theres a great volume remote with dials for volume and bass, with a headphone and line in jack (i use it for the audio from my xbox :D)

my x girlfriend bought the ligitch Z4's and one of my mates just the other week, they are very nice speakers, and yeah they go loud and have a boom of bass, but i wouldn't buy them myself they are nice dont get me wrong but i fell there has to be better on the market. Saying that they aren't bad for £50 which is roughly what was paid for both sets i've heard :P

i've been interested in the Z-2300's for ages now! is there anybody on the forum that has these that can give a mini review or something :P

Yer I'm really happy with my new Aego's, only problem is now i need some headphones. Any one recomend any within about £60, and I tend to listen to bassy music quite a bit (Sorry if somone feels that I am hijaking the thread)
