This is my next build I think . What do you think?

It'll be fine. The corsair is well over what is required, and there are arguements that high wattage modular supplies are asking for trouble. Everywhere you introduce another contact you get resistance, heating, oxidation and so forth.
I recommend dropping to a 600W Corsair, of if you must overspend on the psu get a Seasonic, PC power and cooling, or BeQuiet.

The classified is mental, but I presume you know this.

edit: not certain the graphics card is that good a call at the price either, but other people are better informed than me on that one

any reason why you've gone for that mobo less expensive ones seem to be working pretty well with the i7 processors.

i'd add something like the Titan TTC-NK85TZ Fenrir CPU Cooler as well.

unless your thinking of upgrading the monitor 4870 or 260 gtx would be more than okay.

psu have a look at the be quiet 650w.

Mobo is overkill, PSU is overkill.

That GPU is at a silly price, you can get a GTX285 for £250 now. That's overkill for your rig as well, a 4870, 260 would do fine.

I guess you're an overkiller ;):D

If you plan on spending that kind of money on a graphics card, this may be a better bet.

As for the RAM, this stuff is cheaper, faster and has better timings.

Also, i'm sure you will be wanting an aftermarket cooler. The TRUE or the Noctua NF-U12P are the kings of air cooling(I also hear the Titan Fenrir is good).

Also, unless you plan on doing EXTREME overclocking (like with a super water kit or LN) then that motherboard is unnecessary. The Gigabyte UD5 or the Asus P6T Deluxe happily sit at 4GHz (with sufficient cooling) and will save you serious cash (possibly to invest in a new monitor)

I'd drop the SSD.
In my opinion, they are still too expensive compared to the storage capacity, regardless of the speed.

I will personally wait a few years, and will stick with SATA.

I think you should go for the 60gb ocz vertex or get two 30's and raid them, but if you plan on running an OS and maybe even a game or two you'll need the additional space. Two 30's in RAID-0 will kill, but will be more expensive than the 60gb, but I'd definately get a nice 700W PSU and save a little dough there, and get a bigger SSD.

as already said psu is overkill be better getting a 750 at max, also you would probably be better getting 2 260's instead of the 275. on a different toppic how the **** did you manage to get this kind of money to blow on a pc at 16

If the classified only makes sense under water, why does it have such a massive heatsink strapped onto it?

I don't disagree that air and the evga classified is a strange mix, but I am irritated that you have to buy the northbridge cooler only to replace it.

You are quite right, that cooler does have a purpose, as the classified is the best board on air. However, after spending so much money on a system with that board, you'd be mad not to watercool the lot and get maximum performance out of it.

I'd like to water but don't have more money to spend. i'll spend all my money on this pc. loool I'm going broke. I think i'm going to leave the gfx card out thee gtx275 and stick with my 8600Gt I stil play all the desired gaems at low setting. So what new gfx cards are coming out unlike the mobo. It's the best and there is going to be sometime until another killer mobo comes out. Am I right?
