How Much is Your PC Actually Worth?

About £2k over the last year in total, but as I've upgraded all the old parts have gone into building a new rig for my missus - so I've really only spent about £1k on each.

Currently around £2.50 :D. Still haven't made the big i7 purchase so still slugging away om my Athlon 64 4400, 4 Gb DDR RAM (Thats DDR not DDR 2 running at a swift 333MHz), a very old and now very slow 74GB Raptor, a 250GB HD that throws more fits than my Mrs, an AGP Graphics card (go X1950 pro!) and a nice Samsung 24" monitor. Having said that I doubled the value of my base unit the other day as I purchased a new Deathadder mouse :).

Ahhh, before I ugraded to my current setup (well, actual my old one died and was "forced" to get a new one) I was running some proper old stuff, entire PC was probably worth about £60! Can get quite a bit for your old DDR RAM when you sell it though!

Including monitor keyboard mouse and all.

And I'm halfway through gathering watercooling bits, so including them
Tots up to almost bang on £2000.

heres my spec :)
getting a new one soon :P

A lot less than it would be if I priced it up on OcUK :) In terms of new component prices, probably about £1000. But I'd be lucky to get half that if I sold it today.

I regret spending so much on my PC. I spent about £1200 (had to buy a complete PC, inc. monitor, etc) roughly 4 months ago.
It is overkill for what I need but at the time I wanted to play the latest games on high settings, etc.
Now that the weather is better I hardly ever play games so it's been a complete waste of money. I could have easily bought a PC half the price for my needs. :(

I'd guess it's probably worth £1k in new component prices. I don't think the prices have gone down much since I bought it.

lol yeah ill have to wait a little bit until i get my new case before i put a noctua in, ive got absolitly no room in this case
:P
