Mafia 2 + Wolfenstein

The 2 games i am looking forward to.

The Mafia 2 trailers look amazing, although you would expect that from a trailer, unreal how much they have progressed in a few years, I guess it will be a totally different games from the original..

This topic must have been done already though, just thought i'd wake it back up!

What a joke! Weren't HL2 episodes originally planned for every 6-8 months? Episode 2 came out ages ago! I need my EP3 fix!!

all 3 of the episodes for HL2 we're originally planned to be released within 12 months of HL2's release.

Nope. People (perhaps through no fault of their own) misunderstood "episode" in the title to mean that they would be released frequently (in episodic form). Valve have never stated that EP1, EP2 and EP3 would be released in close succession.

However the gaps between eps are rediculously large, considering at the end of the day, its a storyline and interraction update, with small engine updates tacked on. They are certainly not "full" game developments, even if the dev-cycle timeframe would lead you to believe that they should be!

HL3 is the episodes 1, 2 and 3 I think. Can't recall whether I saw an interview or read one but they are working on something else, last info I remember anyway.
