Hi guys,

Thoughts are turning to what car I'm going to buy in 20 years time, and naturally, something like the Merci really appeals. But does anyone know what these cars are really like to run? Are they as bad as everyone says?

Would I be better off with something smaller like a Gallardo?

You cant even get a test drive in a 330i, what makes you think a lambo dealer will take you seriously mr shirt and tie.

I say go for it, it won't be that much to run compared to a Kia Picanto in the grand scheme of things.

Just quintruple the running costs of the Picanto, and add about a fiver, can always fit Linglongs if you are strapped for cash one month.

Yes, yes you can.

Don't wait 20 years though, sheesh. They'll be outdated! I would try maybe 17-18 years time, as they will still have most of their value.

Not sure about Lambourghini Mercialago, are they the cheap knock offs of the Lamborghini Murciélago.

I think with it being a cheap knock off, it will be chip as chips to run in 20 years.

Lamborghini is part of VAG, so the running costs should be the same as the VW Lupo.

Fixed.

Why would you want to down grade? Lamborghini don't make 5 series or Mondeos do they?
