Is the i890 had of had Android, or a version was released with Android, I think that really would make this phone. The i8910 hardware is way in advance of the Symbian OS... it's wasted on it imo.

Ok well I have the iphone and it's amazing IMO. I use it all the time. I appreciate your comments Richdog. Ok.....my opinion after having the phone a year.

I think everyone should try the iPhone out and see what they think of it - some people like it;some don't. What is without denial from those that don't like it say that the UI is the best out there.

Now......from what I've seen the touchwiz interface on the omnia negates a lot of it's issues.

What I would like a change from on the iPhone are:

A bigger battery;
A better display - I'm a gadget freak LOL and so much would want an OLED screen;
Amazing movie playback;

All these things the i8910 fulfills.

Btw I love iTunes. :D

So IMO the omnia hd 'from what I've seen' is the nearest to the iPhone and in areas beats it for my requirements. At the moment I'm sitting on the fence with the undeniably best UI and will see if the users findings on here are as good as the reviews I've seen because I can't fully trust review sites.
 
Hi all,

If anyone has a pre order on mobiles.co.uk its worth chasing it up as it took the second call after being told ill get it tommorow to find out my orded was still showing waiting stock and had not been processed. Woman changed this and i got a conformation email within a min.

My order is still showing as pending, hopefully gets processed soon.
 
dittohead my was showing as pending till i called them at 3:30 its now showing as dispatched.

im wondering why RaoulDuke got that text though saying its out of stock as the woman at 3:30 said it was in stock.
 
Update for anyone with the same problem as myself. Basically they need to "check that you don't get overcharged" and this check will apparently be done tonight and if before 6pm i should hopefully receive it tomorrow. Here's hoping.
 
I have been trying to get this all day via orange retentions finally got the deal sealed £77 phone dolphin 45 for £35 18month.....then it all goes wrong..........the level of customer service orange offer is appalling.my phone battery died halfway through the final bits of the call - where i pay for the phone.

Called back about 10 mins later - nothing on system and i8910 is not available as an upgrade yet....WHAT!!!

Still trying to sort this mess out but after about 20 calls 19 jumped up idiots who said they cant do anything i finally talk to someone with some sense who's trying to help. oh btw i have now missed the 5pm deadine to have it delivered tomorrow.....

Will let you know the outcome....if its not good i am goig to stuff it and wait for o2 to get it as this is a shambles - pi$$ up in brewery comes to mind.

I'm raging....and i hate all of you who got one easy!

Well I think I've decided I'm going to get this, through Phones4U, as I've still not found anywhere that can beat what they're offering me. Just got to wait for them to phone and say they have them in stock, doubt they will phone though, so will probably just head down there later in the week or on Saturday.

By law, whoever gets their phone first must post a good user-review on here!
