Just passed my test, 4 minors :) ( one was stopping at zebra crossing when people were next to it but not crossing... i didn't want to go through it and fail though!)

Should be getting a car tomorrow, and then trying to find some insurance that comes out under 2k :( :p

I actually cannot wait to drive around on my own. And I am also all set for getting to Glastonbury now, wahoo!

Anyway, I just thought I'd share!

It's kind of frustrating knowing I am now able to drive, and having to wait until after a 3hr exam tomorrow to actually go anywhere :(

Everytime a thread pops up like this, the same responses appear :)

Take it easy, stay alert, you think that was learning to drive, just wait until you're in by yourself, then you'll be learning how to drive :D

My instructor had a good line, you aren't classed as an experienced driver until you've done 100K.

can your parents take out insurance on a car and put you as a named driver (you could pay for the whole thing)

would be much cheaper

Will do on one of those, they're over 100bhp :p
Try a 211 instead :)

Edit: Quinn Direct gave me the best quotes :)

Thames City quoted me at 2600, with 1yrs NCB and a renewal after 6 months, with 1yrs ncb discounting the policy to £1400.

Which is 2k for the year. ( not so bad )

*Hunt continues*

@bledd. - I would do this, however it's illegal :p Although with these current quotes it's bloody tempting

Congrats, great feeling when the examiner says you have passed! I passed on Saturday first time 1 minor. Its great going where you want when you want without waiting for buses and lifts off people!
