Time for a new car!

Wait until your Ka goes over 100k miles, from what i remember they only have 5 mileage counter rings, so once you hit 100k it will read as zero miles! £££s! Thats right £3!

It's also a small hatchback. For example, a 1 bedroom flat isn't suddenly a mansion just because a bedsit is smaller :p

To someone who's been driving a Ford Ka, a Focus is massive in comparison. Having been in a Ford Ka, a Focus and 5 series, the size difference from the Ka to Focus definitely seems larger than than of the Focus to 5 series.

Yes, the 5 series is quite a bit longer than the Focus but for the added length, the cabin space didn't feel proportionately bigger . The same goes for the A6 and mondeo.

It only feels like a massive gap because the KA is a tiny little sardine box. The difference between my MK4 Fiesta and a MK1 Focus feels minimal. Anyone who can't manoeuvre a Focus into a parking spot shouldn't have a driving licence.

We had a Mk4 Fiesta up until late last year, It's what I spent the majority of my early driving learning in and I can safely say the difference in cabin space between that and a Focus is massive. My mate is around 20 stone and 6ft2 and he couldn't fit comfortably in the back of the Fiesta but is absolutely fine in the Focus.

I'm not talking about how easy it is to drive and manoeuvre, I'm talking about how spacious the cabin is and how big it feels inside.

The Fiesta feels pretty much identical to the Ka inside in my opinion.

The MK4 is terrible for rear space. I think you'll find people buy smaller cars because they believe it makes them easier to park. I don't think I've ever sat in a car and thought "OMG there's toooo much space in here" :p

If you can't park a Focus, chances are you can't park a KA.

Does it count if you rely heavily on parking sensors? :p

I saw an old shape Ka with them fitted earlier today...I was most bemused...especially as before that I'd gone to do some shopping, pulled into a mostly full carpark and swung the e36 between two cars, got out, locked the car and walked off...and it was dead straight in the middle of the slot, same when I reverse the car, really easy to park, so why you need sensors on something that small is beyond me.

On something that small, I agree it's a waste of time.

They're quite handy on a bigger car though, when parallel parking (they're no use in a carpark at all really).

I honestly would have a lot of trouble reverse parking without parktronic, its impossible to see how far back the car extends. Certainly not a feature i'd buy a car without.

Granted in the e36 I was reversing and there was a car behind, couldn't tell how close I was, but I knew there was space...there is always space...:p

Just brought a Grande Punto :D

It's a 56 plate 3dr Active with 25k miles. It's in a dark blue colour and looks very nice ;)

Was up for £4500 and got it for £4200 with a service, first years MOT and 2 new front tyres as they only had a few months tread on them left.

Now just gotta sell my Ka.

Picking it up on Thursday/Friday so very excited!
