Stick with the gf, safest bet. Also use friend A and friend B as it makes it easier to read. Or just A and B.

Break up with the GF, it's obviously not working, get with the friend, enjoy it whilst it lasts, I can only echo what everyone else has said re: being 16 to be honest..

Thats the thing I don't know whether I do, I obviously love her as a friend, and because me and her have been friends for ages, when we went to the next step and with how things went, I don't know whether it's love of a partner or the love of a friend I'm feeling.

No I've fallen in love with my GF. And I'm unsure about the friend because we had been friends for so long you love that friend and because things went further, I don't know whether that love went with it.
