.Well, I haven't had the phone for too long, just drained the battery completely and charging it now to see if it makes a difference. This morning I took it off charge at about 11am (fully charged) and it died at about 7pm... I wasn't really using it too often, some texts, 10 mins of browsing and some app downloads, maybe 30 mins of fiddling around.

From what I read on the Vodafone site cheapest tariff is £30. Does that come with Full Free Browsing?

Wanted to try the default 1.5 before I messed with any custom ones.1.1, cupcake hasn't come to me yetWanted to try the default 1.5 before I messed with any custom ones.
I don't think the current Android phones out at the moment are as good for multimedia as the iphone.
Could be wrong but that's the impression I get.
That's like me gunning down the iphone when I blatantly never owned one. What I can say is the areas I frequent whether its holiday or family locations the network coverage makes a difference. Having been on virgin (t-mob), voda, orange and my o2 work phone, the voda option was strongest as it has best reception.
The magic handset just confirmed the deal as its a fantastic bit of kit, something which even if I did get the iphone it would have just frustrated me not being able to use it half time on the terrible o2 areas.
*Editted - Just to add, in this case I would go for neither as the networks of g1 (t-mob) and iphone (o2) didnt suit me. Luckily the new magic happened to be on voda and these guys on forums posted their initial findings and basically sold it to me not any advertising. If your in a good coverage area however your choice will be completely partial.
