New Tarantino film coming this summer - Inglorious Barstewards*

Opinions a liitle more mixed in that video. TBH I'm not expecting another Pulp Fiction or Jackie Brown aslong as it's enjoyable.

Those were a bit more story focused than violence, I'm expecting something like Dusk till Dawn.

Awesome, Tarantino has never been one to dissapoint for me, a lot of people didn't like Natural Born Killers but I loved it, does require a certain taste in films though.

I hope to see some ott blood effects in this, with the scalping and all.. damn I'm pretty sick for laughing at these films :D.

To be fair NBK was more a product of Stone's direction than Tarantino's original script. The original story is far more focused on Wayne Gale than the killers.

With I.B. i hope it is good, as Tarantino is like a dj mixing great moments from other peoples movies. I just hope we get less of his pop culture dialogue. Personally i'd like to see him direct without writing.

At almost 3 hours you will get plenty of other directors Movie Moments, and plenty of 'wordiness' in English,French and German. Radio 4 ''Front row'' was less impressed with it that many other films at the festival.

Aye, but with it being set during war time we won't get any references to forgotten 70's tv shows. :D

Reviews are a very mixed bag at the moment. Sounds like utter dross. Will wait a bit longer but looks like a miss for me. Disappointed :(

To be fair, I never read film reviews anymore. I've seen to see quite a lot of gems that have gotten 1 tomato/star.

If you like Tarantinos films then you'll probably love it, I remember Deathproof had a load of Flak yet it's still an awesome film.

I've read it goes on for too long and not a lot happens other than talking.

Bit like Deathproof then, a lot of people were swayed off because of the excessive talking then the action really kicks in and is worth the wait.

Personally I dont mind the talking, as long as their is attitude and violence afterwards.

Can't wait for this. not long now : 15/08/2009

Sick twisted humour it will be brilliant.

Not sure if I will watch it at the cinema. Will have to see if anyone wants to go see it.

Sounds awesome, but the video in the op has been removed. I'll have a look on youtube see if theres another trailer.

I was a bit annoyed when I saw the advert for this on TV, the silly America exaggerated voice calling it simply "Inglorious".

Has it been renamed for UK 'pc' release or have they just cut the ******** bit out of the advert?

hmmm

This could be a vehicle for gratuitous violence or it could be good. My question is, if it doesnt follow historical events and bends history then why set it within world war II and focus on the relationship between Jews and Nazi's?

Ill reserve judgement until I see it but at the moment it looks like it could just be poking the public conscious with a stick in an effort to ruffle feathers.

Why not both and why not set it in ww2. After all I get the impression that's what it's about. The shock value.

I don't think this film is for you.
