Cure for all Cancer found?

I don't get this either?

he may be referring to the ammount of available natural resourses waaaay down the line. if everyone lived longer and the current population growth rate carried on increasing like it is, thats gonna put a huge strain on natural resources of the planet unless we get a viable alternative to things like fossil fuels or a much better way of recycling etc

I'm all for stem cell research but i guess it needs to come at the same time as advancements and break throughs in other areas for the reason above

There's a potential cancer cure hundreds of times a day in some other countries in the world.

I can't find a big enough bold for the word potential - but I look forward to seeing if it can be developed further into a real cure.

At least it's more interesting news than 99% of the rubbish we hear about these days.

I still dont understand how population growth should be such a problem. Most average families have 2 children, 2 people having 2 children = balance. Its only chavvy council estate families that have a dozen, and sooner or later governments will see the benefits of killing them al. Or limiting birth rates to 2 per family some how. 2 kids = sterilisation maybe.

So how do you propose we fund it?

Fund what exactly? All the people who suffer from cancer and are unable to to work/die young because of it would pay taxes. They would also cease to be a strain on the health budget.

There are other ways that people die you know, it's not as if curing cancer means that everyone will live forever.
