WoW: How do you make your gold?

Got sucked back in again last Saturday, ended up ditching my old DK which had fully epic gear for both sets (dps/tank) and currently 75 on my new one. Will have epic flyer for level 77 to speed things up further.

Me and a friend joined some other people we used to play with on another server who are in the best guild, getting geared up by them then raiding with them as normal. Will be 80 Friday then we're being boosted to get geared. Still gotta get rep back for head enchants and stuff though! :D

Anyway on my new DK I have 9100g, me and 2 friends paid £5 each to transfer over another character from our old server which we packed with gold and items, I transferred over a load of JC mats and other misc stuff, including a Darkmoon Card: Greatness which I sold for 6500g. :D
They go for quite cheap on our server so I can easily farm one back in time for next faire, epic flyer is way more important as that is a massive tool for making gold with. (going from quest to quest or mining for example is TERRIBLE on 60% flyer in Storm Peaks/Icecrown)

Also switched back from Horde to Alliance, much prefer Alliance always have, Horde characters don't hold my interest for long, not sure why.

Well I logged in to 22,000 gold and probably 10,000's worth of enchanting mats in my mailbox yesterday; my split of the guild bank after it disbanded.

Shame I only play arena now and don't need gold :p.

Hm might have seen you around, Only ever spotted 2 people 5 boxing there at least

There's myself and 3 mates in a MB guild "Five of a Kind", three of us in my main guild "Heroes of Old" and at least 2 MBers on the Horde side... it's just such a big world, we're easy to miss :)

I'm very tempted to have a go at multiboxing

Back on topic:

I make my gold by doing dailies and levelling alts.

Five of a Kind is indeed the one I was thinking of :D We have some heroes of old in my raid comm also

I have seen you around before :)

You helped me once in Nagrand :P

Sodic/Higath of Argent Dawn Horde!

Can anyone recommend where I can get decent cloth/trinket gear for a lvl 40 Priest? Most of the loot drops I have had are non-priest friendly, so I have had to make do with my tailoring and enchant skills to make my own. Also my wands are weedy with me either buying what I can afford (not a lot) or the drops are pretty rare in frequency. I reckon that I am running around the wrong levelling areas - Duskwood, StrangleVale and I'm barely scratching the dps on similar levelled npc.

Go to Badlands and pick up all the Uldaman quests, run Uldaman and then move on to Tanaris and Zul Farak.

Nope! Actually you were pretty awesome :P

I think it was on my Undead priest, Sodic. I was doing the Ring Of Blood. You helped out ;)

Was pretty impressive.

Many thanks!

Ah yes, spent a couple of hours helping Alliance guildies and friends and anyone else there doing it and only got jumped by one horde rogue in mid-combat the whole time :)

I do the same with Threat From Above, now, although that's more difficult to help with as not everyone realises they need to tag the bombadiers as well as the dragon, it seems.

Man, they've really fixed shammies since the last time I played them sometime last October.

Elemental shaman is a great laugh to play now, kinda like God has decided to urinate on an electricity substation!

Its faster, but still pretty class dependant.
DK is probably one of the faster classes to level.

In reply to the OP - selling enchants on the AH (specifically +15 agility on weapons, crusader and mongoose) always makes nice money when i need it.
Also selling Mammoth Cutters (engineer crafted bullets) sell like hotcakes at 45g per 1000. No idea if its too cheap, but nobody else on my sever seems to be putting them on the AH so making a steady 400g a day just off them :)

Not long at all anymore, Ive just done 55-70 on a new Death Knight in 24hours just questing.

Its rediculously fast to level now :P

To be fair thought the initial 55-60 as a DK is insanely easy.

The DK quest area gave like 20k experience for walking about 10 yards on one of the quests.

Dunno why more people don't make them, best bullet you can get, 14.5 DPS better than the next best, Timeless Shells.

Actually, maybe people are making and selling the Ultrasafe Bullet Machine's instead of the stacks. Be a lot handier for a hunter to get his pouch filled at Ah that way.
