I have just purchased a Dell Vostro Slim Desktop Case to possible build a HTPC and I was wondering if anyone knows what motherboard would fit? Unfortunately, the backplate for the I/O is not removeable so would it be easier to modify the case to fit a standard board or find the exact board that Dell use?

The case is for a Dell Vostro 200

it will take any mATX motherboard mate.

to be honest if its going to be htpc, i would just cut out the backplate section, there is a slim to none chance your getting a new motherboard with the exact same layout unless you buy the same board direct from dell.

thanks. Not that confident with sawing but as the case only cost me £10 with the PSU, I can't complain :)
