Apparently this was done by the marketing department as a means to try to get the Sophos name a bit more known (as you know Sophos are not interested in selling AV software to end-users; but they do want the average person to recognise the name).
They are after all the 3rd largest AV software maker - but Joe Public probably has never heard of them (especially true in USA as at least in the UK many people would have used their products at UNI or School).
