LOL no moped it's a 4.6L V8, but don't do a huge amount of miles.You either have a well-paid job, don't drive your car much or have a moped!

? Its a percentage - so its the same whether you use weekly/monthly/annually pay figures.
I currently spend 0% of my salary on petrol
I guess that's a Range Rover?

I spend about 12% on my 1.4 Rover 200
Get a 620ti and be a real man, but expect that to double!
If I was going to get anything else Rover it would be either a 220 GTi or 220 coupe. MG wise I would get a ZT 260 or ZS 180Get a 620ti and be a real man, but expect that to double!

Fair enough, same engine in the 220 coupe and GTi so it's all good! You know you want to
ZS180 has to win out of the MGs, shame they never put a T series in that.

They did install the T-Series into the Mk2 400 before the 45 facelift (not the turbo though)

I generally use one tank a month (unless doing a long weekend trip somewhere) so roughly 3-4%. Fuel economy is poor as most are short runs, however as I don't do many miles, it doesn't bother me (and also use VPower which is slightly more expensive).

Emmisions was the reason the T series was phased out.
They couldn't get them down enough to pass the new regulations.
You all either have excellent paid jobs, fuel cards or do less than 100 miles a month.
When I was working at Sainsburys and had just got my car, I easily spent 50% of my wage in fuel. I was only part time earning £600 a month though.

Indeed - it was loosely based on a very old engine design - the O Series otherwise known as "the 'orrible series"
