Premiership Last Day *spoilers*

I'm serious, I'm not messing around today, I cant see that side scoring, Brown hasnt played for months and is incredibly dodgy when he comes back in central defence after a lay off, Neville is barely a player any more and PIG is one of the worst goal keepers to ever ply his trade in the league.
As for the midfield, Gibson is never going to make it at United no matter how hard they try and force him in to the side, Fletcher is a workhorse with virtually no craft about him, Nani will do very little and Tosic if all is to believed will disappear without trace during next season as he sucks.

You are absolutely right when you say Hull are terrible, but you are discounting the fact that they are nailed on to raise their game tomorrow just as a few other sides down the bottom there do.

I have to admit I thought Fergie was going to put out a stronger side than that. I'm still confident you can get a draw though, more confident of that than Newcastle beating Villa anyway (although that's not saying much). :/

Have you ever said a positive word in your life about United? What is this 'all is to be believed' source of yours?

Off to the Arsenal Stoke game tmr, anyone fancy meeting up for a beer before hand? Going on my own as I have a flight to catch later :(

Arsenal -1 and Chelsea -1 handicap double pays just over 5/1. Bargainlicious though the Chelsea one will be close imo. Saying that, Sunderland are no great shakes.

Dont see Newcastle beating Villa. Out of the bottom 5, Middlebrough seem the more likely to get a win seeing West Ham dont have much to play for. Hull v ManU's a tough one to call but i'll go for a ManU win because of Ferdinand, Neville, Brown and Fletcher playing so the two noobs up front should manage to bundle something in. So im going for GD to decide who takes the last spot to the Champions hip

People who watch the reserve games and the odd comment on here.

Why dont you just try and join in with some banter rather than having a dig at me?

It amazes me sometimes how people conduct themselves on here, maybe with some people it isnt an act, maybe there really are people with as little self awareness as they display on here.

Who knows?

I know I dont want to anyhow.

As for saying good things, I say lots of good things, Use the search button, Why haven't you noticed the many comments about Rooney being one of the best players in the world? or how fantastic Rio is? Maybe you just have selective blindness, thats why you never see how I praise Vidic, and Ronaldo (when he isnt sulking) and Anderson, and Carrick.

I dont think Its blindness personally, just unpleasantness.

Anyhow you join the select few on my ignore list from now on.

I really don't understand why so many people dislike Newcastle. The only thing I hate about them is the owner - Mike Ashley. I think Boro, and Hull to go down.

why the hell am i awake this early on a sunday??? hardly slept cannot decide if its sun beaming thru my window at 5am or the fact that i am just too nervous to sleep!

the first thought wen i woke up was the game, dear god hav i turned into one of those lol

I like the way Shepard is circling again, coming out with comments about how the club has gone downhill and been run into the ground since he left.

What a great chairman he was. He's just hoping you go down to buy back on the cheap.

I remember myself the last day nerves when we managed to stay up but in dubious circumstances. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Goway the toon!

;)

Some of Shepherd's comments have been stupid.

Here's a letter sent into one of the fanzines (the bits in brackets are by the fan):

Freddy Shepherd told The Sun: "Relegation would be an absolute disaster in terms of corporate and the crowd [good to see Old Fred still puts the crowd behind the corporates].

"It took us 12-15 years to get a big ground, a great academy [I must have missed that. As did SBR] and a good set of players [ah yes, I remember the good old days of quite literally scrapping for 14th under Souness ]. We left and all of a sudden there's a disaster. And you can't make a profit out of a disaster [talking from your villa in the Caribbean I presume Freddy?].

"One thing that is really upsetting is the whingeing that is going on. They blame everyone but themselves [the irony of this article about blaming other people for blaming everyone but themselves is not lost on us Fred].

"They have to look at themselves and say 'what have we done wrong here' [where do you start - 1997?] and not start blaming other people. It annoys me that they seem to blame me all the time.

"Every year we were there we made a profit [you can say that again - block buying thousands of shares at through various financial vehicles; taking out more in dividends per annum than the interest on the aforementioned ‘big ground’s mortgage; accounts in Gibraltar; ‘investing’ the Champions League money on Lee Bowyer on a free as summer squad strengthening; ].

“There is only one person to blame and that's the guy who decides who is going to run the club. Lots of people can buy football clubs but not many can run them” [you said it Freddy]

Pretty much sums up the situation.
